Free Roll or Federal Rolls
Raj Thackeray, the man who spoke the truth, may not have presented it the way we would like to hear. But he spoke the truth. He chose an icon to emphasize a point. The point is, "What have you given to the state which has adopted you with all its affection in comparision with your mother state". Instead of melodramatic and arrogant rebuff through his wife, the icon could have used the opportunity to express his love and readiness to be the brand ambassador of Mumbai and/ Maharashtra. He could have used the opportunity to build an institution in the name of Balasaheb Thackeray's wife who his family knew for the last 50yrs. Is it wrong to be brand ambassador of the state of your birth? No. But what vitiated the atmosphere? The plasticity exhibited by Jaya Bachchan and few other pan Indian speakers has vitiated the whole atmosphere and trying to demonise Raj Thakeray for asking a genuine question. To summarise in a negative tone, which I do not like but since it comes back to me repeatedly, we can understand the plight of Kashmiris and the Kids of the Seven sisters. If the North Indian capitalistic goons can dare hold the great Maratha pride to ransom, they must have crushed the souls of these gentle beings. Raj should tour North East to propose Federal Rolls.
